Taormina Giardini Naxos and Isola Bella boat tour

Hop on board, of our boat tour to visit Giardini Naxos and Taormina coastline's four most iconic bays. Through this classic summer boat trip, Sicily Active will take you to Isola Bella marine park, inside the beautiful Blue Grotto of Taormina, and all the way to the crystal waters of the Mermaids bay, the ideal beach to enjoy some snorkeling. Along the excursion you will see the most iconic landmarks of Taormina coastline, the prickly pear rock, the lovers cave in the enchanting Giardini Naxos bay, and the bizzare cliff shaped by the elements into an Elephant. We will treat you to some paste di mandorla (Almonds desert) and cool drinks; all served on a floating table. Our Captain, according to the weather condition, will choose one of the four bays along the itinerary to stop and allow you to enjoy a refreshing swim in the blue sea of Taormina. Our Boat tour highlights includes Mazzarò bay, one of the most stunning sea landscape of Sicily. This boat trip is available five times a day starting at 10 am, every two hours. The meeting point is by the restaurant la Sirena a few tens of meters from the departure point set in Giardini Naxos harbour.

Escursion Details

Our two-hour boat excursion departure takes place from Giardini Naxos port. You will sail in the crystal water of Capo Taormina and Naxos bay, hosting the lovers cave. We will than proceed towards the pricly pear rock and Isola Bella's marine reserve, housing the stunning Grotta Azzurra (Blue Grotto). Here We stop to treat you to an aperitif while you can enjoy a swim in the Sicilian sea's turquoise water. The next stage of this boat trip will take you to Mazzaro bay, where you can see the prettiest beach along the coast of Taormina and one of Italy's most lovely landscapes. Next, we will visit one of Giardini Naxos and Taormina's coastline hidden spots, the beautiful Mermaids bay where the elephant rock is located. On the way back to the harbor, one of the best views of all Sicily awaits you; The mighty Mount Etna, the volcano towering over Giardini Naxos Bay, and the Hilltop town of Taormina.
