Quad Tour to Castiglione di sicilia

This exciting two and half hour quad bike tour will take you to the heart of the Alcantara Valley, famous for the Alcantara Gorges. Through a series of off-road trails, you will visit Castiglione di Sicilia, a beautiful mountain village, and the lakes of the Gurne Alcantara. Along this quad bike tour, you can ride your ATV through Sicilian nature and take some pictures of Mount Etna from some viewpoint. Remember to bring your driving license. No advance payment required, free cancellation. The meeting point is twenty minutes away from Taormina and Giardini Naxos.

Escursion Details

Before starting this quad bike adventure, an instructor will explain how to drive an ATV; you can go for a test drive if you wish. The first town we will visit will be Francavilla di Sicilia. The guide will take you to see first an ancient church (Cuba bizantina) e then to the beautiful town of Castiglione di Sicilia, with a fantastic view of Mount Etna and the Alcantara Valley. Our group will head towards the suggestive Gurne Alcantara through an off-road trail, a series of lakes where the one brave enough can go for a swim. Please keep in mind the water in the Alcantara gorges and river is cold even in summer.
