Pickup is scheduled at 09:00 from your accommodation (where service is available). After about 50 minutes, you reach the north side of Mount Etna and stop at a mountain chalet for a short coffee break before starting the walk.
Guided Walk on Mt Etna
The route follows ancient lava flows through pine and birch forests on Etna North side (around 1,800 m) and reaches a series of extinct craters. The walk is short and designed for non-hikers who want to explore Mount Etna safely.
Lava Cave Visit
Before heading to the winery, you enter a lava cave with helmets and torches provided. Your guide explains Etna’s volcanic formations and how lava tubes develop during eruptions.
Wine Tasting & Lunch at a Winery
The final stop is a selected Etna winery surrounded by volcanic vineyards. The tasting includes 4 Etna DOC wines (2 reds, 1 white, 1 rosé) paired with a traditional Sicilian lunch in a quiet countryside setting.
